World Snooker announced the cancellation of World Open 2015

World Open

Sad news came today from the World Snooker. Ranking World Open, played the last three years in a Chinese Haikou, this season has been canceled. The contract with the promoter was not renewed and the new venue for the tournament could not be found at this season.

At present options of holding a tournament for the next season 2015-2016 are looked through. The tournament and qualification to it have been deleted from the calendar this season.
