
Yesterday the draw for the first round of the World Championship. 16 seeded players knew their opponents at 1/16. Tomorrow, April 19 tournament games begin Ronnie O'Sullivan - Robin Hull and Stuart Bingham - Ken Doherty.
We will remind that games of the first round are played at two sessions to 10 victories.
1. Ronnie O'Sullivan (England) – Robin Hull (Finland).
Ronnie O'Sullivan – five times champion of the world: 2001, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2013. He took part in 21 World Championships (1993-2013), played 69 matches in which scored 53 victories.
Robin Hull – second time participating in the main part of the World Snooker Championship. In 2002, he lost in the first round.
2. Joe Perry (England) – Jamie Burnett (Scotland).
Joe Perry - semi-finalist in 2008. Participant 11 Championships (1999, 2002-2004, 2006-2012). He played 20 matches and won 9 wins.
Jamie Burnett – He lost all three matches in which he took part - in 1996, 2009 and 2011.
3. Shaun Murphy (England) – Jamie Cope (England).
Shaun Murphy – World Champion 2005. 11 times participated in world championships (2002-2003, 2005-2011). He played 30 matches in which won 20 victories.
Jamie Cope – from 2008 to 2011 he played 6 matches, won 2 victories. The best result is 1/8 finals (2009, 2011).
4. Marco Fu (Hong Kong) – Martin Gould (England).
5. Barry Hawkins (England) – David Gilbert (England).
6. Ricky Walden (England) – Kyren Wilson (England).
7. Mark Davis (England) – Dominic Dale (Wales).
8. Ding Junhui (China) – Ìàéêë Óîñëè (England).
9. Ìàðê Ñåëáè (England) – Michael White (Wales).
10. Allister Carter (England) – Xiao Guodong (China).
11. John Higgins (Scotland) – Alan McManus (Scotland).
12. Stuart Bingham (England) – Ken Doherty (Èðëàíäèÿ).
13. Judd Trump (England) – Tom Ford (England).
14. Stephen Maguire (Scotland) – Ryan Day (Wales).
15. Mark Allen (Northern Ireland) – Michael Holt (England).
16. Neil Robertson (Australia) – Robbie Williams (England).
